Autoliv China is leveraging Mixed Reality (MR) technology, specifically through the HoloLens 2, to create 3D training courseware that allows new employees to interact with holographic representations of equipment. This approach has increased their training capacity by more than five times, enabling a more efficient onboarding process without the need for extensive physical resources.

The digital twin platform allows frontline workers to quickly import CAD/BIM sources into standard 3D models and create their own applications without any coding. This capability enhances their ability to optimize operations and maintenance of equipment, providing them with better visibility into performance and access to intelligent recommendations for streamlining production processes.

By implementing the DataMesh FactVerse platform for their MR and digital twin training, Autoliv China has achieved a reduction of over 50% in physical training resources. This includes decreased reliance on in-person trainers and high-carbon equipment, leading to significant cost savings in training classroom and equipment expenses.
